The Majestic Palace of Versailles is to be turned into a luxury hotel set to open in January 2012.
All 23 rooms will overlook the Orangerie where Louis XIV kept 1700 orange and palm trees to create a breathtaking view during the winter months. Guest will also have access to gardens that have not been trespassed for more than 300 years.
Wouldn’t it be intoxicating to feel like Marie Antoinette and rest your weary head within the walls of a palace with more drama, deceit, romance and scandal than any other in history.
I’m sure it will cost a pretty penny. A girl can only dream…..
