I received the most divine book for my birthday, My Heart Wanders by Pia Jane Bijkerk.
I've have only read a dozen or so pages and I am mesmerized. Everything in Pia's world is poetic and beautiful.
She takes us on an enchanted journey as she packs up her life in Sydney and sets up her first home in Paris.
Her photographs are exquisite and her story speaks to my wandering heart.
Pia has me thinking, maybe my dream of living in Paris just requires a leap of faith.......

She is amazing Pia is - haven't read this book, but perhaps a good idea for a birthday gift. And yes - a leap of faith is sometimes what is needed. I have done that many times - last was in feb when i quit my dreadful office job. Still want to pack up and leave - but have 2 kids and the Mr. to bring - gets trickier then ;O)

Oh Anya I'm about to start an office job. Hope its not dreadful!! Finally hagging up my wings, my days as a flight attendant are over in less than a week! I highly recommend Pia's book as a gift, its gorgeous. x
oh isn't my heart wanders just beautiful. it bought a lot of emotions up. you know dreams can come through, i lived in a few different countries and ready (well i am) to move again! lovely blog.
