My Heart Wanders

I received the most divine book for my birthday, My Heart Wanders by Pia Jane Bijkerk.
I've have only read a dozen or so pages and I am mesmerized. Everything in Pia's world is poetic and beautiful.
She takes us on an enchanted journey as she packs up her life in Sydney and sets up her first home in Paris.
Her photographs are exquisite and her story speaks to my wandering heart.
Pia has me thinking, maybe my dream of living in Paris just requires a leap of faith.......

Au Revoir

So long, farewell. The day has finally come and I'm about to jump on a plane to visit my beloved Paris. First stop however is Japan to pickup my partner in crime and first time visitor to the city of lights, Corin.
Stay tuned for updates on all our shenanigans!
See you soon.
Au revoir for now.

Carousel

Parisians love their carousels, they are dotted all over the city. My first memory of Paris is eating a mouth watering nutella crêpe by the merry-go-round near the Eiffel Tower and knowing it would not be my last.
So the first thing on the agenda when we arrive in 2 weeks is to take my soul sister to this magical location to experience her first Parisian crêpe!

Little Red Book

Ines de la Fressange is the quintessential Parisian. Gorgeous at 53 and with great personal style she is more than qualified to release this little red book, Parisian Chic. From the "Magnificent Seven" list to makeup and beauty tips this book will have you looking like you were born with innate style.
Many of the photographs are of her equally as gorgeous daughter Nine D'Urso, who by the way has just been chosen as the international face of Bottega Veneta's inaugural fragrance.
Can't wait to get my hands on this style bible.
